This collection is a inspired from the region I have adopted 15 years ago:The Northwest in Oregon. The tones are organic and focus more on the depth and movement of the glass. It is a collaboration with Nathan my Husband who created OG Studio with high end Glass work making and using this glass i n much larger scale.
The glass is re cut, re melted, shaped to find a new life as Jewelry with transparency, geometry or organic movement.

Glass and Felt work by Géraldine Sandberg
The panels in this collection are the combination of my work in glass and felt. They are solid cast glass, measuring about 1/2" thick, where a carved "channel" exposes the raised felt design.
The glass not only contains the design, it prevents it from spreading without limits. The rigid boundaries, are necessary to let the design to be loose and yet organized. Clic on photos for more details.
